Mini Stamp Collages

Shortlisted as ‘Highly Commendable’ (Contemporary Collage Magazine Awards, 2023), my portfolio of mini stamp collages showcases my love for precise cuts.

I always get asked how I cut so tiny, and while I joke it’s because I use tiny scissors—that’s only partly true. The other reason is because I like the challenge. Vintage postage stamps are fragile, and because of this, it commands my entire attention; I don’t think of anything, I just sit on my bed, in the sunshine, and cut as close to the lines as possible.

And then smile and giggle at how tiny and fun and magical they all are.
